Almanac X life-style resort model kicks off in Prague

Almanac Lodges debuted the Almanac X Prague on March 1, the primary resort within the new life-style assortment Almanac X.

The 204-room, reborn property is steps away from town’s Unesco-listed Previous City and the historic Wenceslas Sq.. 

Set inside the previous Alcron Resort — an artwork deco landmark relationship to the Nineteen Thirties — the unique property drew such well-known company as Charlie Chaplin, Winston Churchill and Ella Fitzgerald.

Native structure agency Marani and Barcelona’s Tres Cinco Uno inside design studio led the 14-month, $21 million refurbishment. The renovation retained such authentic particulars as marble pillars, wooden paneling and an onyx hearth. 

Facilities embrace a restaurant serving reinvented basic Czech recipes, an artwork deco-inspired cocktail bar, a specialty espresso store and a health middle.

Charges begin at about $260 an evening, double.
