Explora Journeys unveils the look of high-end lodging

Explora Journeys unveiled the design of its Ocean Penthouses and Ocean Residences on the Explora I, the posh cruise line’s first ship scheduled to take its maiden cruise from England on July 17. 

Ocean Penthouses vary from 463 to 732 sq. toes, and Ocean Residences vary from 753 to 1,604 sq. toes. Explora described Ocean Penthouses as providing “a luxurious retreat with oceanfront floor-to-ceiling home windows and expansive terraces to unwind and calm down.” 

Penthouses provide a eating space for 4 and a big seating space. All have a walk-in wardrobe with a seated vainness space and have a Dyson Supersonic hairdryer, heated flooring within the loos, binoculars, wi-fi bed-side charging, a private mini-bar replenished in keeping with the friends’ preferences, an espresso machine with biodegradable pods, a kettle and teapot, and a complimentary private refillable water bottle for every visitor. 

Ocean Residences provide separate dwelling, eating and sleeping areas. They’ve a panoramic oceanfront terrace with a non-public out of doors whirlpool, a eating desk and solar loungers. 

The names of the residences — Cocoon, Cove, Retreat and Serenity — mirror the calming results of the ocean and the home-at-sea feeling. The Cocoon and Serenity Residences function wrap-around terraces, whereas Cocoon, Serenity and Retreat residences provide a separate bathtub and walk-in-shower. Calacatta Macchia Vecchia marble is used within the loos of Cocoon, Serenity and Retreat residences. 

All Ocean Residences are served by a workforce of hosts offering butler service 24 hours a day.

Explora Journeys is working with Italian furnishings firm Molteni&C to furnish sofas, chairs and a few out of doors furnishings in suites. Additionally, suite terraces have been furnished with items by Manutti. Luxurious mattress and bathtub linens are from Frette.

Every suite will function a grasp art work in the lounge together with extra complementary items and curated ornamental parts.

The Explora I’ll function in-suite health tools by Technogym. Ocean Penthouses shall be outfitted with the Technogym Package, whereas Ocean Residences may have a further Technogym Bench obtainable for friends.
