Taiwanese provider Starlux schedules first U.S. service

Taiwanese provider Starlux Airways will enter the U.S. market on April 26 with service to Los Angeles.
Flights will function 5 instances per week between Taipei and LAX.
Starlux, which describes itself as a luxurious airline, will function the flight with an Airbus A350-900 that includes 4 top notch suites, 26 enterprise class suites, 36 premium financial system seats and 240 financial system seats. All seats are geared up with seatback leisure screens.
The airline is touting its meal service.
“The brand new flights will present beautiful eating, together with Taiwanese signature dishes ready for all-class passengers,” reads a Starlux press launch.
Starlux started operations in 2020 and now serves 15 Asian locations with a fleet of 19 Airbus A350-900s, A330neo and A321neos. Together with nonstop Taipei service from Los Angeles, Starlux is promoting connecting service to Asian cities onward from Taipei.
The provider has signaled its dedication to the Los Angeles market with a promotional deal making it the official worldwide airline of the Los Angeles Clippers professional basketball group.

Starlux will compete with Eva Air and China Airways on the route, Cirium flight schedule knowledge exhibits.
