WTTC introduces sustainability pointers for motels

The World Journey & Tourism Council (WTTC) launched a set of 12 standards it recommends motels implement to drive accountable and sustainable tourism practices.
Known as Resort Sustainability Fundamentals, WTTC stated it’s an industry-backed initiative to allow lodging suppliers worldwide, no matter their dimension, “to start their sustainability journey.”
